TGI Fridays Cyprus enlisted Opium Works to design and develop a modern website with attention-grabbing typography. The aim of the site was to introduce the American fast food stalwart to the local market, leading to greater brand awareness and sales lift.
With new players entering the market at an unprecedented rate, our team catapulted Fridays to prominence by establishing the brand as the go-to family favourite. On site, we showcased Friday’s distinct product offering, event calendar, special offers and rewards.
We took a deep dive into audience insights for our core target and discovered that they do spent a significant amount of time online on a smartphone or tablet. We’ve also learned that they are willing to spend more and prioritize quality over most fast food restaurants in Cyprus. Thoroughly researching online habits, allowed us to develop a creative site that would communicate the brand’s message to the market.

The website was built on our favourite Drupal 8 Content Management System. This gave our client full access and full ability to manage the variety of content. Drupal is one of the biggest open source systems in the world and is built on principles of collaboration, innovation and customisation. Make the system work just how you want it.
