The Client
The Christmas campaign for Costa Coffee Cyprus centered on celebrating the joy and warmth of the festive season, using their iconic drinks and rituals as the core of the storytelling. The goal was to evoke nostalgia and inspire connections while creating an inviting festive atmosphere, and also tying the magic of Christmas to the indulgent experience of their seasonal beverages. Through this campaign, the brand sought to highlight its festive range, encourage trials and build long-term loyalty, while driving both in-store visits and online engagement.
The Project
The primary objective of the campaign was to create a strong festive presence for Costa Coffee Cyprus. By tying the joy of the season to the rituals of enjoying their festive drinks, the campaign aimed to raise awareness around the holiday range and position it as an essential part of the Christmas experience. The creative approach focused on inspiring and engaging audiences with crave-worthy propositions, while the campaign visuals incorporated traditional festive elements, such as rich colors and seasonal motifs, to foster a sense of nostalgia.

The campaign also aimed to drive traffic to Costa Coffee locations and online platforms by ensuring the messaging was relatable and aligned with the lifestyle of its broad audience, ranging from young adults to older generations.
The Execution
A holistic experience was crafted on both online and offline platforms. A thematic photoshoot was carried out, featuring festive drinks, branded merchandise and models in cosy, relatable settings to capture the essence of Christmas while emphasising the ritualistic appeal of Costa’s offerings. Similarly, short-form video with trending sounds and current themes aimed at presenting the brand as the ultimate festive destination.
An interactive element was added through a dedicated landing page featuring a simple Christmas-themed game, which allowed users to enter a draw for special prizes, driving both engagement and participation.
Additionally, the campaign extended its reach through native articles published on popular platforms such as Avant Garde, Kitchen Island, and MyLife, further embedding Costa Coffee into the local festive narrative.
Offline, the campaign featured strategically placed billboards in high-traffic areas that showcased the festive drinks range in a vibrant and inviting way. Also, a collaboration with Klik FM aimed to further amplify the campaign, with live radio links held at popular Christmas destinations, including malls and festive villages.
The Results
The Christmas campaign successfully maximised a small budget to achieve remarkable visibility, engagement and cost-efficiency, evident by its low CPM. By leveraging a strategic mix of creative assets and targeted delivery, the campaign ensured a strong presence during the festive season.
