Relik Marketplace is an innovative platform dedicated to fans and collectors of authentic celebrity-signed memorabilia. It offers a unique marketplace where users can buy, bid and sell exclusive items, with a vision to expand its services and continue providing a seamless, secure and engaging experience to all collectors by blending technology with the excitement of auctions.
The Project
To bring Relik Marketplace’s vision to life, we implemented various high-level development processes and technologies that allowed us to produce an intuitive, scalable app. The development was led by the implementation of React Native, which allowed us to deliver real-time auction capabilities, personalised user experiences and secure payment solutions in a seamless and dynamic manner, across both Android and iOS. By being able to maintain a unified codebase for both platforms, it meant that substantial time and cost were saved in ensuring a high-quality user experience with better performance and quicker updates.
Finbase was used for backend services, in order to power real-time synchonisation and ensure smoother auction updates and user activity tracking. We additionally integrated Stripe for secure payments, along with Google Pay and Apple Pay options for a fast and convenient checkout that meets the needs of our times and stays aligned with users’ wants, as well. Also, celebrity-specific affiliate links, supported by deep linking, allow for seamless integration with social media, boosting merchandise visibility and sales.
