Opium Works was enlisted to design and develop the website for Cyprus Wine Museum. The aim of the site was to showcase the Cypriot wine heritage and generate awareness. We increased traffic to the website by integrating a journal. We also created a calendar that showcased cultural events hosted by the museum.
By implementing front-end developing techniques, we provided a seamless user experience and rendered the site as a haven for wine aficionados. We maintained a black background throughout the site that accentuated the informative texts and key visuals. The design enhanced the company's visual identity and was created in line with the historical context.
The website was built on our favourite Drupal 8 Content Management System. This gave our client full access and full ability to manage the variety of content. Drupal is one of the biggest open source systems in the world and is built on principles of collaboration, innovation and customisation.
